Galactic Map Icons

One thing that I hope to see in the galactic map soon is designations for friend, neutral, or foe for stations.

Optimally Factions could choose an icon from a list, or even upload one. The icon would change when the station changed on the galactic map from "unknown" to neutral or hostile.

In this way, players could look at their territory and see at a glance where their stations lie.

I like the idea. Maybe the map icons could be something that is changed by the texture pack? Then people that wanted to make custom packs could also change the map icons to fit the pack more closely.

If they wanted to, they can. It's a simple sprite file in the Image-Resource folder.
Every single graphic file shown in the game can now be modded. Installation is just a case of overwriting files.

Even if it was just done with name colour in the map
Your faction = Blue
Ally faction = Green
Neutral faction = Yellow
Enemy faction = Red
No faction = Grey or White.

I figured as much and went looking for these files but couldn't find them. Don't spose you know the exact location or name of the station, shop, and vessel files do you?
