I hate to sound like an idiot but, 'Stealth, how does?'. I am trying to build a stealth ship, I tried and realised that the cloakers are way too power hungry to actually be usable on any actual ship, so I tried making a core and just adding power and batteries and it STILL didn't work. From what I can see, stealth is pointless and impossible, so 'Steath, how does?'

You might need a better understanding of how the 2 power blocks behave and the most efficient setups for generating maximum power output. At the top of the site you can click on the "WIKI" link and browse around until you find the section that describes power.

Ace made a great ship. I love stealth as well, but it is insanely difficult to get a ship that looks good. What I've noticed though is the larger and longer the ship, the better off you are. You need the efficiency of the power to be able to supply cloak for itself and every non power block. Once I finish it I'll upload what I had worked on. It looks like a Star Destroyer sort of.

Basically, what Syleiel and Glutton said. Read up on the power mechanics and you'll see that power efficiency reaches a maximum at about 600 reactors in an optimized group, reaching around 1200 energy per reactor. This means there is a sweet spot of sorts: you can't make a small perma-cloak ship, but you can't make it too big either.

true "stealth" in starmade currently consists of making an attempt at destroying your enemy before they know you're within firing range.
