Galactic haze

I don't know if it's actually called a galactic haze, but right now, it's would look a lot cooler if the galaxy had a haze around all of it's stars, like a real galaxy does.

Both, but primarily in game.

Hmm. I wouldnt say it's impossible. We can get a similar effect with bloom. It just isn't applied to the map stars. Not sure how well we could simulate it in game. When the dev builds came out with the galaxy map you could actually see the stars of the galaxy from any point in game. Lately I have been having trouble recreating that process and I have turned on all the proper settings.

I think my dealer sells galactic haze lol. It's actually an effect your eyes give you, because you squint to see the stars the water on your eyes defocuses the stars slightly. I'm not sure it's possible, I don't think Elite has it either.

Hopefully the addition of nebulae in the eventual future will make this a reality.
