Items info on inventory

I didn't find a topic especific about it so I'm posting it.
Every time I find a new item or list items to craft I can't know what is that for if I don't go for a wiki of some sort. I think it would be great to put in inventory and crafting stations a description of the item you are listing.
Either as a "Info button" the icon of the item or by putting mouse over it and showing a floating window showing it.
Things like Item Description, Base value, type and so on would be interesting to have as a easy to see info.

Huh? Could you be a bit clearer? Do you mean you don't know how to craft an item? Click on 'Graph' on the factory screen with the item selected.

If you mean the item INFO description, just make a shop block and bring it up on each item.

Totally agree with the latter BTW.

I agree, and think it should be a button, so that there could be a lot of detail.

Hover-over-style floating windows would be restricted in the amount of information that they could show, but could still be useful. It just seems redundant if there's an info button available.

This is being implemented in some form in the new UI.

The hopes are to show it's description, Structural stats and recipes the block is used in if applicable. It may be possible to add information for raw materials on where it commonly comes from, or which factory commonly uses it.
