    A reduced pulse time would mean more control over the activation, and it would give the cannon combo more use. It also would make it more like an opposite of the pulse combo.
    I was thinking that half (so 2.5 seconds oulse time) would be enough. It should still allow one block to be salvaged in a pulse with the smallest array possible (that has a 1:1 salvage - cannon combo).

    Apparently it now works this way.

    Pulse time is already 2.5s and a 1:1 salvage - cannon combo already just mines one block per pulse.
