Usually i don't say this, but Vyor is right. This is OP and needs balancing. Well either balancing or not implementing at all.
Looking at the names of new weapon systems we will probably get weapons which have long reloading time and huge amount of damage done by 1 projectile/tick. This suggestion will result with instant changing (in matter of dps) faster shooting systems to the slower ones.
