Sector Bookmarks

Is there any official bookmarking system in the works or planned? I tend to just write down important sectors on a server I play on in a text document or something. Some sort of in-game way of saving sector locations seems like an obvious solution. But I'm unsure if there that is already planned at some point or not. Maybe it is being held off until after the universe update. So does anyone know if any sort of bookmarking system is planned?

You could write these bookmarks to a display module and place it in front of your core so you can see it while flying.

I do the exact same thing lol so I have to refer to my notepad Eveytime I'm trying to find a specific sector.

Although personally I take screenshots with the UI on. You can do that using the F5 key, and they'll be saved to your main star-made directory.

there was a app for mobile once.
dunno what its called and dunno if you can still find it in the app store
but its a good way to save your bookmarked locations

it was an android app called starmade tools. it sucked. The bookmarking system was in essence the same as writing it down in a notepad.

I remember searching for that bookmark option back when I started playing the game, until I realized that there was none...

So yea, definitely a +1. Writing everything in notepad is quite annoying.

I've been jotting coordinates down on one of those logbooks that I found on a planet. Not the ideal solution though since you can't craft (last time I checked) or find these (or anything else) on planets anymore, but it's the best i could come up with.

You can still find pyramids and cities on planets, and they still have their respective loot chests

Bump, this is an awesome idea, and yes there are temporary solutions, but an official in game one would be better.
