Re-imagining the Damage Pulse

    Here is a picture from the Clone Wars series and this is pretty much exactly how I envision it, a large disk that can either deal damage to a large number of ships or a large area on one.
    That would be very cool, but I'd still like there to be omni-directional pulses. Since this would be much further range, maybe this would be great for the Pulse + Beam combo?

    While a pulse in all directions is cool no one ever uses it in a practical way since the damage is spread over too large of an area and a lot of the actual pulse never hits anything.

    Yeah, plus then we can make launchers that work through docked ships.

    While a pulse in all directions is cool no one ever uses it in a practical way since the damage is spread over too large of an area and a lot of the actual pulse never hits anything.
    The radius of the other pulse types could be increased.

    I personally would just prefer the Pulse to fire in a cone, with a max range under 500. Beam would extend the cone, Missile would widen the cone, Pulse would scale down but increase damage from the cone, and cannn would rapidfire. I would also like Cannon/Missile to have a slightly lower spread, but thats a convo for another time.
