Supernova Station; My Magnum Opus

    So I've always struggled with stations... ships I can vomit forth almost without conscious thought (though I do try to think about what I'm doing, to be clear and the effort is defnitely there) but stations always seem to vex me.

    Finally, whilst at work I realized why this was; I've always built stations as a side project for some purpose whilst my main project sat off to one side awaiting my eager attentions. I now vow to conquer this with what will be the most ultimate and epic station ever made, truly deserving of the name Supernova Shipyard.

    I decided, then, to chronicle my adventures in making it here, since there are so few such work-in-progress logs; and none from me in general.

    First-off, there is the general idea and layout that I mentally came upon, It will be a layered station, like a big awesome sammich, Eventually, I hope to have it contained within a cordon of defenses and minefields; but this will likely be the last step.

    My intent is not to spare a single detail-- I will not lie, it will take a long time, if I finish it at all. Hopefully you will all join me on this journey and be inspired.

    Basic Features
    Central Well leads to every level.
    Logic-activated red alarm lights and beam cannon laser grids.
    External cordon of laser cannon grids and minefields. Station accesible by small to medium ships through six customs outposts. Customs outposts to feature parking areas. Larger ships with official permission admitted via Supernova Shipyard Defense Force base.
    Poll to decide whether core / rim / reaver sectors.
    Internal turrets / security stations with exo-suits
    Possible capture point. (extremely difficult!!)
    Core-tubes for transit to outlying facilities
    Ship Museum
    Race-course
    Fighter Arena

    Divided into levels
    In order of level

    Apex Level – Authorised personell only
    Tactica Control
    Orphaniel's Palace

    Oh Zoda, thou doth wound me most savagely!

    You think i would forget a cafe'? Why, there shall be Cafes catering to every level of economic posession, don't you remember that the Traffic Control AI was in charge of Coffee at the old Supernova, and people leaving their ships around randomly would anger it, then everyone got cold, poorly mixed coffee! I refuse to relive that disaster!!!

    Wish someone would create "Nowhere" from Guardians of the Galaxy >.<....
    I wouldn't be surprised if some team of crazy people somewhere are working on it, but that place was suitable enormous and not a great deal of it was ultimately shown in any kind of detail. But you never know...

    You're assuming I will make it available for download. With ships that is definitely the modus operandi, ut this station...? people might have to come and visit the server to experience it themselves - it certainly wouldn't be suitable as a random trade/pirate/derelict station

    Wouldnt you need a security card to get into barracks area? It does not say you need anything meaning anyone can get your Hunters meaning rampaging gangs of nuts going down halls which means....death!!!!!
