Well, now maybe they should have a petition to decide what major feature is added next to the game from a list, after the FTL system is added of course.

For example, you could pick

1. Chairs
2. Heavy bugfix sesh
3. Give ToyotaSupra 'Forum contributor' badge
4. new weapons

ETC. It could make the game even more community-powered than it already is.

+1 for chairs. It seems that #2 has already been done with this latest update, and we got a (bonus) new weapon too. So... Once we have our engine and universe revamp, and FTL, it will be time to start adding interior elements and refining astronaut-side gameplay, which may include the addition of more necessary survival features.

+ Some way to rate old and agree both. Maybe let everybody rate 1 negative, 1 positive?
+ Bad spelling should be "Bad spelling / formatting".

I think we need the ability to rate ratings, as well as custom ratings for everyone. That way we don't have to write posts anymore, because we can communicate entirely by rating!

Agreed. Except then @starhaiden would suddenly get a pile more neutral ratings...

I would like if you could attach a line of:
"User> Text" below the ratings.
If two users write the same (agree with each other) it could be displayed as "User1, User2> Text" and if User 1 changes his mind "User1> Text" and "User2> new Text" again.
These custom ratings could start below the avatar and have smilies available

If we're talking about emoticons and ratings then I'd like to make a suggestion: Be able to turn off emoticons manually.

I'm the kind of weirdo that actually hates emoticons and finds them noobish. I'd like to put a simple smile instead of a big grinning mush. Just let us choose from the drop down list ta very much.

Also it messes up text formatting, for example if I wanted to talk about Exile:Dangerous then you'd get a big smiling face in the middle of the text and oh god it's there isn't it?

Also, the proper way to write it would be "Exile: Dangerous" with a space... So... meh, not needed.
