Hi there. A friend of mine recently told me about Starmade and I excitedly set up a personal server for myself and my two sons (11 and 9) over the weekend. We've played and had tons of fun.

I am a technical writer for a medical device company and at one time wrote documentation for a small game developer. I wanted to offer my services, free-of-charge, to edit the text used in the opening tutorial. While already incredibly useful for a new player, I believe it could be improved and provide a better opening experience for someone just starting out.

Handy! The current tutorial is somewhat lacking and doesn't cover all the basics, like the new crafting system (I still don't know what the enhancers do, i guess I'm going to have to find out by trying).
