Cargo transfer not working.

I'm trying to move cargo from mining drones to the central inventory on a larger ship, a carrier. I have linked the 4 basic rails on the carrier to the storage block and the storage block is pulling with the items filters sorted out. The mining drones have a rail docker which has a smaller storage block (not pulling) connected to it. I have docked the drones to the carrier but there are no items moving into the carrier's cargo hold.

If blueprints are needed, I don't know how to add them to this post, when I try to add them in "upload a file" it doesn't seem to work.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Cargo loading and unloading changed a while back. There are now Rail Load and Rail Unload blocks as well as a new item in the radial menu (default 'Tab') under Ship/Space Station for controlling loading/unloading permissions. See here:

no it is not.
but you can switch them aout with logic to unload or load Rails for the cargo transfer
