Decorative console as logic button

Can we please allow decorative consoles to be connected to logic systems?
I would love to control logic systems in my ship, especially in the Bridge, wihout having to see that big button block on my ship and controlling systems like airlocks etc. from local consoles would add so much immersion.

Im sorry if this was posted before, I wasn't sure for what I should search since english is not my first language.

I don't think, this was suggested before.
The console is relatively new - before we had just blocks and sprites (plants).
I suggested "wedge computers" before though (before we had the stylish console).

But there could be one issue. Blueprint File Formats - StarMade Wiki
"Active" -logic- is only available for full blocks.

But perhaps we could make logic independent of the "button" and bind it to logic from a light-block/rod.
You could toggle the light block with a console and –if you place the console above the light block or below the rod– see on/off states.
(note: only as long as "the block used as button" itself does not have an activation bit)

This has been talked about on stream and I think the devs are on board as well, but we'll see if we actually get it.
