    Hi!
Is there a way to make an asteroid a station? I really like these new asteroids and would love to use one as a base. Is there some kind of trick in game to make it into a station? Or is there a converter out there?

I increase the build mode size in single player and copy paste.

    Yup that's the one.
    So select an asteroid
Use save blueprint of selected item....I think its a command line command(will and the syntax with an edit)
From the main menu export the asteroid
Use the BP converter to select the exported asteroid and convert
From the main menu import the converted BP
Log into the game and Admin load the BP
    Enjoy

    EDIT:
save command '/save myNewShip' Saves the currently entered/selected object in the catalog.

Look in community content here on the docks.

I've seen someone post station entities that are asteroids. You can use that as a starting point for an asteroid station.

I tried that and wasn't having any luck unfortunately. If someone else gets it to work, please tell me!
When making a blueprint of an asteroid ingame, the resulting blueprint(at least some updates ago) contains no blockdata at all, meaning the converted blueprint will also not contain any blockdata, making it useless.

You know how asteroids flicker when you place a block on them? thats the asteroid generating block data. Its only unedited asteroids that have no block data because its easier for the game to just re-generate them as needed.
