I cant join any servers

Hey, So today when I tried to join a server something new popped up. The game did its initial startup but as soon as it started to say "connecting to server" it immediately changed to "shutting down current client". I'm not sure what this is or means and this is the first time I have ever seen it. I can play my single player worlds just fine.

First of all try to reuplink, that fixes it for most people I know that have had the problem,
If not reinstall
