If you need to know more about the item ids go to your starmade folder and open data folder and open up the config folder and open BlockTypes file open it with notepad.

The new shield system is not too dissimilar to the power system now. Much like the power system, shields have been split into two blocks, a capacity block, analogous to power tanks, but for shields, and regen blocks, instead of having one type of shield block handle both capacity and regen. Otherwise, shields function similarly as to how they did before.
