this is a station that I decided to build after seeing another station of similar idea. a city.

any suggestions welcome, but some may not be as welcome as others.
anyway without further ado, here are some glorious pictures for your viewing pleasure.

and the layout so far of the city

what is planned are as follows:
an underground city that is cramped
the "floaty lights" to be on rails as to move around (courtesy of nightrune 's idea)
a temple of sorts (you guys can come up with an idea for that)
a full forest with secrets and the like
    a cemetery
    gardens
    and some ruins

and once again, any other suggestions will be welcome.

layout so far of the city
In my view it looks as if it were intended as a sort of temple or palace in its entirety; for a city, I think it feels too symmetric and too sterile.

I don't think the layout is too obvious when you're down at street level, but I'd still try to avoid using mirror symmetry for a project like this. If you'd make templates of the various buildings and sprinkle them around, alleyways, open spaces, dead ends and all sorts of interesting variations happen almost naturally and in my opinion, would make the city that more interesting to look at, from ground as well as from space. Also, some variations of the basic buildings, and maybe a two-storey here and there, could help break up the monotony - unless of course that's what you're aiming for.

Also I guess the project is still in an early phase, which may be why it looks so sterile, but I feel it needs adding lots and lots of small details to feel "lived in" if you will; people would decorate their homes and neighbourhood, the buildings would be in different states of construction, maintenance, repair, and decay; a "missing" house could host a tree or two to become a small park... again, just my thoughts on what makes the difference between a "city" and a "castle district".

No blood? Did something happen to you?! :P

In all seriousness, that's a magnificent build you've got there! Just imagine some NPCs walking around and stuff in the future. :)

and thank you, I cant wait to have this close enough to finished that I can upload it to the dock, or at least have someone look around it without falling through a hole.

Looks to me like what happened is that you decided you liked the dark eldar more than khorne.

Clearly you still don't understand that green is best.
