The question I asked was not a reflection of my own opinion, I never stated it was, I asked that if FlyingDebris were to be presented with such a statement how would he/she/it/whatever respond.

To answer your question (and this IS a reflection of my own opinion) If you are acting childish in a matter that is very serious, it shows you as someone who is not serious about the matter, if you are not serious about the matter in question, then you will most likely act the same if you are involved in the matter, and not being serious about the matter shows you are not prepared to contribute to it.

And another question, what makes you stand out from the other councilors in terms of what policies you wish to strive for, you have not stated your goals or motives anywhere in the original post, so what are you actually planning on contributing to the council and StarMade as a whole if you are elected, and what skills do you have in StarMade that allows you to contribute such things?

Isn't this pretty much like asking what a school president nominee will do about recess time periods? The council has a job and they do it nuff said.

Not sure about you, but where I come from, when a politician runs for office people will want to know what they will do with the power they have, e.g Donald Trump wants to build a wall and make mexico pay for it, but I have no idea what FlyingDebris is planning nor what he wants to achieve nor what he intends to push for with all the power he has.

They're not politicians who need plans on what the game needs. their job is to read suggestions and send anything of quality off to schine, filtering out the crap. That doesn't need a plan. Heck, it doesn't really justify the entire elections/Q&A stuff we already do

I *had* stated goals when I ran for council in term one, but dropped the goals part as it evidently had no real purpose in a council election. As to what makes me stand out? I'm not a master builder, I'm not a logic wizard, I'm just a run of the mill server owner.

I call it like it is. It's really quite obvious you would normally pay no mind to a thread like this, yet due to some percieved transgression against you in the past (Mind you I was nothing but polite, friendly, and civil to you in the time we have known each other) you decided that it was in your best interests to come here and stir trouble where there previously had been none. I view this as a continuation of your apparent rage upon leaving Trinova that led to you handing out the link to the skype group.

I like this show.

In my own personal opinion, from my own personal perspective, any and all of our council members are chosen by the community. And to that end, we have to live with our choices.

What measure of power (if any) a councilor has is ultimately governed by Schine who owns the game.

So, I'm not particularly worried about any bias a councilor may/may not have, because at the end of the day Schine has the last say.
Schine also has access to these forums that are moderated pretty well I would expect.

Great questions and debate though! Is both fascinating and entertaining watching this thread.
