I don't know about you but I would rather stick to physical mechanical doors to keep my prisoners in. All you need is one power failure and they all escape.

That's why I electrify mine, they still keep prisoners in if there is a brown out but give em a nasty jolt if they try to bang on the door.

Why not make diffrent type of forcefields or use a secondary block that we can use it to modify its setting.

The current shields can be considered in a sense hardlight shields. They are impassible but solid unless turned off.
