Might as well ask some srs questions.

Do you have any ideas or plans revolving around server management?
You also run a faction, are there any services or features you want to advocate?
As for the game side of things, any particular colours that you would advocate over other colours?
And if so, why?

For server management, I'd push for stuff like blueprint catalog optimization primarily, as well as just general fixes to server lag-related things.

For features, I try to avoid letting my faction affiliations play into that given that it'd probably end up gearing the game towards my play style. The only things I'd suggest would mostly be quality-of-life stuff like an easier way to activate/deactivate turrets or a different key to have 'fire on selected' turrets do so. (Wrote a thread about this a while ago which was met with moderate success)

For the game side, I'd recommend only one thing for colors: Make the green not neon.

If you do become councilor, would you actually work by for example reading suggestions, replying to them and discuss them with other councilors? spending at least 5 hours per week doing that? or are you going to try and get only the things you want and ignore the rest of the community and councilors? Or would you sit back and do nothing.

I actually do read a lot of the suggestions forum, but I usually don't comment on them since I (currently) have no obligation to. If need be, I can chime in on more than just a couple of threads.

As to PvP, I do enjoy it but at the same time I think there needs to be more nonviolent player interaction, or interaction of any kind really. I think the best way we could get PvP to become more frequent is if we had a finite number of systems with high resource density that it is impossible to put a homebase in. On top of that, I would entertain the idea of increasing scanner range or having a deep space scanner with different properties than the current one, allowing pirates or the like to track down players.

What's wrong with acting childish and trying to have a bit of fun while being serious?
Im serious almost all the damned time but I dont act like I am.
Most people on the dock is like that ._. you know, childish, trying to have a good time. Trying to help the devs with the game.

The question I asked was not a reflection of my own opinion, I never stated it was, I asked that if FlyingDebris were to be presented with such a statement how would he/she/it/whatever respond.

To answer your question (and this IS a reflection of my own opinion) If you are acting childish in a matter that is very serious, it shows you as someone who is not serious about the matter, if you are not serious about the matter in question, then you will most likely act the same if you are involved in the matter, and not being serious about the matter shows you are not prepared to contribute to it.
