Planetary Defenses Thread

What do your planetary defenses look like? Mine are pretty basic right now. Trying to figure out scale is pretty hard. Lets see your defenses!

well, dock power supply and shield supply INSIDE of the planet core, and build inwards.

Then spawn a wave of 20 of these things. If your docked satellite network (for looks and AMS!) and land based turrets can kill all of them, you are probably solid for nearly everything.

Make sure to have a mix of long range and short range weapons, and plenty of decoy missiles from maybe 1 block missile beams so the huge missile beams (your long range guns) can slip through point defense.

I usually just build a center main turret per plate and 5 AMS Turrets a plate. Than I add some shields and power under the plates just to F with people. XD

I have a few of these near the planet

just so you know they are called the "VOSS-pattern planetary defence monitor" I think they do quite well for defending planets...think
