I took a small break from Starmade right after the transporter update was released in order to play a bit of Fallout. As to be expected, that didn't last long, and as of three days ago I came running right back! After loading the game and letting the launcher update I noticed that there is no sign of any of my blueprints.

Not only are they gone from the server I play on....they are gone from my Starmade directory also....there is absolutely no sign of them and I had hundreds. All that now exist are the OEM Isanth ones.

    Can anyone help?

De game might have copied itself to your C:\ drive.

Removing allmost all of it's own content from your SteamLibrary folder.
    Look if it's located under:
    c:\user\appdata\roaming\starmade

You might need to enable show hidden and system files.

This happend to me a few days ago and i am again reinstalling. Now it seems it stays on my D:\ drive steam folder.

You get an extra java install to version jre1.7.0_80 its in a sub folder called deb.

Did you start a new world? and set it to use "*insert your previous world*" blueprints?
Or did you actually go inside the instalation folder and found no blueprints?

I checked that located and there was three files there but that was it. I did a full search of the PC with a *.sment and found them....located on c:/Users/my name/documents/blueprints

WTF?! lolol....thank god I found them though

.sment is the export format a sort of Starmade .zip file.

The blueprints you have should all be in named folders with a data subfolder also three files called header logic and meta.

Simple copy everything over to your main Blueprint Starmade folder.

    example: SteamLibary\SteamApps\common\StarMade\StarMade\blueprints

I did exactly that...copied them directly into Starmades blueprint folder. It does not work. They do not show up ingame under catalog and they are not able to be seen or exported by the launchers catalogue either. =(

Make a blueprint of something in game and check where Starmade puts it. To make sure your blueprint folder is the current active one.

I to copied them back and my first try was also wrong because i had left over folders.

Wandering installations is an absolute first for me but then this is Starmade

Alternativly .sment really are just .zip files. So use someting like 7-Zip compress each ships folder and save it with a .sment ending then load it with the catalogue manager.
