So yeah. I have my base on a planet. Stupid, I know.
Anyway. For a while now I'm having this problem where my turrets either disappear or are teleported to the planet's core when the server restarts. It's not all the turrets all the time, and it's not from all the ships -- which is confusing me to bits.
Anyone knows about this or any way to prevent it?
I have a total of 7 ships docked to the planet's surface, one of which has turrets, and the planet has 2 turrets too. Those are all fine, never had a problem. Then I have two ships farther from the planet (but still connected). One of these is the one that gives me problem all the time. Although I've also had a rail from the base to once get teleported to the planet's core.
Weirdly the ships themselves never go? And as for the turrets, some times it's just the barrel that goes away, some times it's the whole turret. And I've rebuilt the ship several times and noticed that it isn't always the same turrets.
Maybe even more weirdly, in this part away from the planet I have 4 defense turrets. Which are basically a copy of the model I have on the ship. Yet these ones docked directly to the base are always there, they have never disappeared.
I have 4 "entities" (either turrets or barrels) stuck in the core right now. I used to have more but they disappeared too. And then I logged on today to find that 3 out the 5 turrets on that ship had disappeared (this time not even teleported to the core).
The only thing I can think of is that there's something to do with the naming structure created by the shipyard that either helps, triggers, or causes this. Hence why I never have a problem with any of the other entities (created from blueprints) but I always have a problem with this one (assembled by the yard). I'll try deconstructing it (yet again) and spawning from blueprint and shall see.
I had created a bug report a few days ago (http://phab.starma.de/T919) but so far only crickets. Meanwhile my stuff keep disappearing daily
