Asteroid respawn...

I don't think it's happening. I cleared a sector and I have the server set to re-spawn in 100 seconds, but I do not see the asteroids re-spawn. I tried logging out and back in as well as leaving the sector and coming back.

is this SP or MP? if its MP, did you restart the server? Also when reading the release notes, it said that the sector had to be empty. I assume that means no blocks, players, or any kind of entities. Not just "no asteroids" I could be incorrect in my interpretation though.

The sector must be completely empty for x time (100 seconds in your case), so that means you can't be in the sector for them to respawn (so don't expect the asteroids to poof in front of you :p).

and its a server setting now. not all servers will have asteroid respawn.

Yup.

Question for those that know, are the asteroids that respawn the same as they started out as, are they random, or is it what they were as of the last server save like the old days?

Aka, if you find a field of Larries, is it worth bookmarking it when asteroid respawn is on because they'll always respawn more Larries, or is it random what we get back? Or can we still push lots of them together to make a farm?
