I see you haven't linked your Steam account to your StarMade one. You can do that here: https://registry.star-made.org/profile/steam_link

yeah, but if you download the free version you can not play on servers. On steam i can. i just need a registered version that's not on steam. for my work laptop.

Strange, the free version of Starmade plays on servers just fine for me from the download. Not sure how Steam does things though.
