Missile+Beam range

    On missile master and beam slave does the range and/or speed depend on the amount of beam blocks?
    Just a simple question.

    Yes.

    Depends on the ratio of Secondary weapon blocks to Primary weapon blocks, capped at 1:1 with the Primary.

    Basic missile 0% beam slave
    1.98 x server speed limit
    1.6 x server sector size for range
    ROF 1/15 seconds

    As you get closer to 100% beam slave the stats get closer to
    2.98 x server speed limit
    3.2 x server sector size for range
    ROF 1/45 seconds

    You could even have a single beam computer with no modules slaved and then your guided missiles won't have that insane 45 second cooldown.

    Yea, but then it'll have the range and projectile speed of normal missiles. So it's basically a normal missile with lock-on :D.

    The 45s reload isn't such a bad thing, since the missiles deal 45 seconds worth of damage in a single hit.

    But take 45 seconds of power in one shot :P

    That was sort of implied, in the end it does the exact same amount of damage and takes the same power as three 15s reload missiles.

    Was this not changed to dealing 30s worth of damage in 45s, whereas 0% support deals 15s worth of damage in 15s?
    Still viable, though.

    That difference is why my missile/missile combos have 0% slaves so that it will target like swarmers but not suffer from the reduced speed that a full 100% slave swarmer has. In theory if you manage to get to full reverse speed with no overdrive you should be able to outrun the 100% slave swarmer missiles since there speed multiplier was a tiny bit under the speed limit set by the server.
