writing in colours in chat would be great.
you have to start with "(a number) and then all upcoming letters become that colour.
saying 1 is blue, 2 red etc.
    example:
    "1 how "2 are "3 you
    makes 3 different coloured words.
something like [blue] could also work but that it more typing.

Already implemented in chat, just works in a different way than what you are suggesting.
Mods still doesn't want us to use colours as colours are preserved to Mods, Schine, and all those fancy people.

The chat already has colors in game to differentiate between various chat windows that are open. Red is for server announcements and commands. White is general chat. Blue is reserved for private chats and green is for faction chat. To be completely honest I think it's a bit unnecessary to have devs spend time on something that does very little for the game, or would wind up being a distraction.

To have server admins designate the colors that are already tied to the various types of chat, I would be okay with. But again, that isn't really a priority.

lol, no priority for sure :P
forgot about the faction talk, private message and announcements.
I know a game that has coloured talking and also different colours for private messages and announcements, that's where I got the idea.
it works pretty well there but sometimes people do try to replicate those messages. guess this will be such an extra thing made by a mod maker :D and yes, there is totally no use for this, just colourful talking :P
