Greeting ladies and gentlemen, looking to get into the Great Hunt? Well you are going to need some transportation, and what better way than to "burrow" yourself a D5-Mantis Patrol Craft from the local space port.

Here is my current side build project the Bounty Hunter's ship from the hit MMORPG Star Wars the Old Republic.

Interesting build method. I tend to find it too annoying to use the replacement option for hull, since you need to replace wedges/tetras/etc individually and corner block tend to get turned in random directions.

Since you left some space in the middle open it seems that you are going to fully automatise the unfolding turbines?
If i ever start building rail constructions of that size on that level i'd probably shoot myself long before get done anything significant.

I know it is all advanced armour hull it is all I had on at the time and I did not feel like cluttering my inventory any more than I had to. That and I was just lazy :p The detail is to come but I wanted to get the basic form cranked out so I can get to work on 3 engine pylons. I figure the most difficult will be the bottom pylon for it is the one that folds up flush with the rest of the ship in landing configuration.

Yes! You finally are making it! I'm ecstatic, right now! A suggestion: For the bottom engine and pylon, what about a recess in the hull? Doesn't have to be a full recess, but it would be just like landing gear on an aircraft. Anyways, I'm so happy and excited to see this! Can't wait!

Here is a quick little update, I was able to get the concept of the port and starboard engine/ weapons pylons working I have to work on the timing and add some rail enhancers to increase speed (no where near what is displayed in the following GIF, I sped it up for proof of concept) Still not 100% on the shape of the bottom of the craft and the bottom engine pylon of course.

Thanks Man, btw love the FireFly you uploaded, haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet, but what I've seen from the pictures, spot on.

And yes it is very rewarding when the rails cooperate, it is a beautiful thing to watch. It especially took me a while to get the port and starboard engines to do what I wanted, many different designs before I settled on this one.
