Damage beam using too much power?

    Since the most recent update my Damage beams are using too much power. Damage beams were working correctly before. The setup is 6 damage beams with 90 blocks each. Connected to the damage beams are cannon barrels at 100% and overdrive effect at 100%. Power usage is in excess of 20,000,000 which drains power completely and displays the power failure message. I tried increasing the power to 27,000,000 and all the power is still used up with the power failure message. Is anybody else experiencing this? Was this supposed to happen with the upgrade? Thanks for any ideas.

    Lancake said that it should be fixed in the next hotfix, is very well not intended.

    Phew... I had a very small tractor beam turret that was sucking over 750,000 energy per second. I was hoping that wasn't intentional.

    Yes noticed this too and it is making it a pain to build beam related things. :(

    I believe it is already fixed in the dev build, so next update at the latest. However, since they haven't released an actual hotfix by now, I'd say next update at the earliest. So...bet on next update.

    Yes it is fixed in the latest dev build, I'm not entirely sure if another hotfix is coming though. I'll poke around a bit.

    Noticed that the AI doesn't react when clearly in range with damage pulse as the only primary. XD Might want to tell them about that too. >_> You need another weapon on the turret or ship to make the AI use pulse in range or not.
