Found a city on a green planet

pardon me if you guys already know about this,i made a search on the forums to see if anyone posted anything about this before,and since i dint,i made this thread. while playing on single player i found a city on a green planet! could this be the start of NPC cities?

This has actually been in the game for awhile. The cities are rare, abandoned and usually have some pretty nice loot in them.

I wouldn't worry about it. Those cities have been in since before the forum reset, so there was probably nothing about the cities in the new ones.

Cities dont contain loot, Pyramids do

The new updates did add something interesting for these though, if you are lucky, you can get more than one on the planets because the segments are randomised individually

thats great! thats what the kind of stuff this game needs,stuff that makes we want to go down to planets to explore instead of only mining.

Yeah, i was lucky and found 2 cities on one planet.

I've found plexstorages in city buildings containing loots.

But seriously why are these things so rare, I've been playing this game forever and I've never found any pyramids or cities. Never found a Mushroom Island on MC either.

We need more structures to enhance the exploration aspect, there's nothing on alien planets (purple drank ones) and Neptune planets only have ice crystal spires. Alien planets should have research bases or something.

Yes they are and how rare they are is in the configs. I think I have the rarity on mine set to 3 times the number of plates a planet just to run into them but not too often.
