    Hmmm and what of realistic? If it continued to exist in updates will it at least be given default textures for new blocks?
    Realistic has been discontinued a long time ago and hasn't continued to exist in updates. Only old installations even have these files. I don't think the game can be told to delete files, only overwrite old versions of files. I believe Kupu is even against purposely destroying these files by overwriting them as they can be used as a reference if anybody wants to create a new texture pack or even revive the old one.

    Oh I didn't realize that they were only around due to not being able to delete.

    I will just add the new textures in and upload it for free likes. >: P

    It's a slim chance, but i never wanted to overwrite them incase somebody wanted to continue using / editing them for their own use.
    If you want to use them in a project of your own, please feel free.

    Yeah, I'm considering making a "Frankenstein" pack that uses the old Realistic textures with the new blocks from Default as well as the far-superior hull textures from Default... But meh, laziness.

    The all new and fresh Pixel pack is in the game. If you're struggling to run higher res textures, definitely give it a try.

    If you simply like the pixel aesthetic and still want the best quality possibility, try cracking up the anti aliasing and turning normal maps on. It should still give a pretty clean visual experience with MUCH better performance over the 256 defaults.

    Also, textures at 64px are no longer using compression as a default setting, so anybody using the pixel pack, defaults @ 64px or 3rd party packs should be getting better image quality now :)

    I hope this helps some of you on lower spec computers or laptops :) I know i'll be using them for myself ^^

    I have a cheeky suggestion in the form of a question:
    Would it be possible to get a Plexglass block which darkened when activated? A bit like the way doors work except the opacity decreases when activated. Something recently reminded me of the scene in Blade Runner where Deckard points out the light in Tyrell's office is too bright.

    Yes, this is possible within the current block editor and easy enough to implement. Although I'll have a chat with the team and see what they think (is it worth it etc.)

    We've also got a few tweaks to be made to the UI and loads of concepts that need drawing up for future content.
    As always, i'll keep you all posted as much a possible in this thread.

    I hope he does more artwork.

    I'd not considered wallpapers yet. There is no set task to officially create 2d artwork as merchandise or promo freebies.
    It's more just me practising, doodling, painting and uploading it for fun. :)

    I enjoy the painting thread here in our forums, so for now i'll continue to contribute to that in free time. If things get requested or proposed enough, in time it might be considered i suppose.

    Yes, I watch the same thread. I wasn't thinking about merchandise, just that a lot of people are probably already using some of the artwork in there as wallpapers (or at least would like to). Why not stick an official Starmade Watermark on some of it and use it for promotion? Maybe even suggest to the people in there to organise a competition? A good way of tapping into people's talents...

    Hey, just a note: It's very difficult to tell the difference between the button, activation module, inner ship remote, and wireless block textures. It is outright impossible to do so between the inventory icons.
