    1. Give us an option for Copy&Paste to also save display texts and storage filters.
    2. Give us an option to connect a computer to the modules we just pasted.
    3. For me the most important:
Change the limitations of advanced build mode from a cube to an absolute number of blocks.
For example, instead of build area 10 (10x10x10) a build-limitation of 1000. So we could choose a cube of 10x10x10 or also build 20x10x5 or 1000x1x1.
This would encourage people to build more on servers.
    4. Give us the possibility to see which blocks are used in which amounts in templates.
    5. Let us make categories for templates by using folders inside the template folder. Ingame it would be a simple drop-down menu.
    6. Optimize the performance of the paste preview.
    7. Give as the possibility to fill the whole build helper area with a specific block. (restrict build area is nice, but this would be even better)
    8. Add a delete button for templates

As far as I know you can connect pasted modules of one type to a computer by hitting "shift" and "V" as long as they touch each other and are orientated in the same direction.

    exactly

Say you just built an awesome looking external gun with two outputs and now you want to build 3 more of them by copy&paste. Would be easier if it would autoconnect if you have pressed "C" on a computer before.
It's not such a big deal, but should also be not a problem to implement.

    To mention another example:
Paste an area-trigger caro. There you stand, connecting tons of single areas ;)

You can change the build area already. Most servers I see use 50x50x50 max area.
It's an option in your 'server.cfg' file. Making this a certain block amount would also make copy/paste behave strangely.

    Servers with 50x50x50 areas?
Uptime of 75% maybe? Or just no players cause of extreme lag?
I'm aware of all this options, I'm using a build area of 250 in SP.
The thing is, servers normally don't want their players to build such big cubes, cause of performance or to prevent servers crashing.

Setting an maximal total block count instead of build area would allow to build bigger sections, without giving people the power to lag or crash the server.

I also don't see why past should behave strange. If max x * max y* max z is <= build limit, it works.

Give us the possibility to see which blocks are used in which amounts in templates
in the blueprint screen find the one you want then click blocks. gives you a list of all blocks and amounts of each.
