I realize now (after having actually played around with the site and trying to get involved with the community) that making a ship post in the community content page for an incomplete build was a bad idea. I've been wanting to get some feedback on my build from the community so I thought an ongoing forum may be the way to go, so I'll put up some updated photos, people can come by and bash me or praise me, offer constructive or destructive criticism, what have you. So I'll start showcasing the ship.

The Harrower was made popular by SWOTOR, and it gave me an instant nerd boner. So I figured I would build it. The official measurements don't really add up, to my mind, so I took some creative license to build it on a scale that I thought was plausible. It ended up 2.5/1 scale.

If anyone would like to help build the fighter craft, some personal shuttles, transport ships, repair ships, industrial ships, and anything else that might be docked on this ship, let me know. I plan on going all out and wouldn't mind a helping hand. I am trying to use as much Sith inspiration as I can and have been studying up on their designs. I would recommend you do the same should you want to participate.

Here she is. The Harrower-Class Dreadnaught.

Do you consider this finished or a WIP, because it needs a LOT more love, detailing, wedging, colouring, interiors. I'll gladly help you if you want :) Amazing ship furthermore. What are it's exact dimensions?

I figured that the fact it was hollow was indicative that it was still WIP, and the whole "If you would like to participate" bit. lol. No big though. The dimensions it has now aren't going to change much, it's mass will increase, obviously, but other than that, I think this is going to be it's size.

I need to find a way to design turrets that can actually combat another capital ship. I don't know how to do that without using ship sized weapons. That's something I REALLY don't want to do, though.

A set up like this could work

Or you could do the capital gun turrets on the Venator.

Those internal guns might not have the "oompf" I need to combat a ship of similar size and mass. The capital guns on the Venator are a good design, but I still don't know their size ratio in comparison to the actual ship.

Now this Boat looks sick man. Ill be keeping a close eye on this build for I to loved the looks of the Harrower when I first saw it in SWTOR. I am working on a Fury-Class Imperial Interceptor if you are interested. But my current replica build is my Imperial-II Star Destroyer

I have tried to build a Fury, but couldn't seem to get the proportions right. If you get one built, I will build a hangar on the Harrower just for that ship.

I think everyone on that transport sits in 45 degree chairs and walks down 45 degree halls.

    Seriously those bridges(?)

I actually have built 3 to 4 Furys, I have it pretty down pat. but due to hard drive crashing i lost my blueprints. And with the recent rails update i want to rebuild and add landing gear, boarding ramps and moving s-foils

Seriously, let me know the moment you finish your new one. I'm not overly concerned with combat capabilities. I just love the ship, and it will serve as a great captains yacht.

I have always loved the looks of the Fury, and I am happy to rebuild it again especially with the new systems in place.

    Phantom is better...

Fury just another TIE Fighter imo.

It is the unholy offspring of a TIE and YT-1300 :P still a beautiful bird, but the Phantom also has the curves and shape I like, Shebs I like most star ships in the Old Republic, the Designs are awesome, I even like the D-5 Mantis

I built a Phantom, but couldn't get the perma-cloak to work. You're welcome to rework it if you'd like. It's pretty accurate.

We should be friends. We both clearly have exquisite taste in starships.

Would be cool if someone made this.

I planned on making some support ships for the Harrower after she's done. A multi-role fleet makes me feel nice inside. I also like this design.

I would love to take a look at the Phantom, I am pretty good on systems, and have always wanted to play with the cloaker some more, my first permacloak ship ended up getting destroyed by pirates and a hard drive crash, big fail on my part as I intended to backup my blueprints that same day.

And It would seem we do have an uncanny preference to some beautiful boats within the Star Wars Universe.

I had a wonderful Support Ship built at one point in time that I plan on revisiting, How does the Crusader Class Corvette sound from Mandal Hypernautics sound. Completely wrong era I know but I Love anything from either the Imperials or Mandalorians of all eras in the Star Wars Universe.
