Make tab + f6 only availale to admins

I agree, it definitely can be abused. It's also a great way to reload all the chunks when you have a massive 16^3 hole in your ship or station so it would be a shame to be admin only. Guess I'll just have to relog instead.

The problem is that you can never be sure that anything inside of your ship/base is kept away from other players who are not at way (unless you consider neutral enemy and you have turretse)

Yeah Tab F6 is OP. If you need to rerender chunks turn your raycount down then back up. No base is secure with tab f6 around

I think the plan is something like that.

Either that or astronauts colliding based on serverside stuff.

sounds the perfect solution, athough i don't know whether this is a suggestion or a bug that has to be patched :D

Sometimes it is usefull if you are stuck somewhere, but you could ever just commit sucide, so making us imobile is the thing.

Depends on what you mean by "immobile". If it is just straight out stopping of all motion, that becomes one hell of a handbrake when flying.
