Starmade registry not connecting to steam

Hello. I am having troubles with connecting my account to steam.

It's a limited account.

So I press " main menu " on the starmade registry and proceed clicking on steam link.
I then press "Authenticate with steam" and log in with my steam account.

Now I am redirected back to starmade registry where it shows my "cd-key" and when it was bought.
I copy the CD key, go on steam (the version installed on my pc) and click "games". A dropdown bar comes and I click on "Activate a product on Steam".

I put the code in and then it says http://puu.sh/i2uhu/2e560636fe.png o.o after this it tires in install the game again.

What I have tried is:

Uninstall the game then reinstall it by pasting the code in "Active a product on steam". No luck here.

Launch the game and login on my account on the second launcher.

Launch the game and pressed "register with steam" on the first launcher.

None of these work.

Yeah I am sorry if I put it in the wrong part of the forum.

I tried the steam link at the registry with no luck.
There are more than just me with this issue.

Can you please try linking your steam account to your registry once again.

If this is successful, you should see the account status on the registry changed from "Limited" to "Upgraded". Please allow 24 hours for your badge to be issued.

I logged on the account and now it seems like it worked. Did you guys do something or did it simply fix itself?

He said in a similar thread that a fix was applied, been a couple people with the issue it seems.
