    Hi all!
    Got the newest update, and since my computer crashed and the Shattered Fleet erased (for now), I decided to try out the new rail system. Of course I will install elevators and cars from one end of the ship to the next, but with my newest project, I decided to try something a bit inventive. As seen in the picture below, Project Harbinger will have a set of cannons facing out of the front, but not for very long. Once I have programmed the rails ATTACHED to these guns, they will retract into the ship, hiding behind a pair of blast doors. I know, it would be easier to just make fixed cannons, but how daunting is it to see just a massive pair of cannons sprouting forth from the front of a destroyer? Project Harbinger.png

    not very seeing as you expect destroyers to have guns
    you just weaken yourself

    Like I said before, it's just for effects. Also, these are hulk missile launchers with about over 7,000 missile pods on each. Thus, it won't really be used on other ships, unless they they can be taken by surprise. This would more or less be used for destroying planets or stations, with other guns used along the rest of the ship. Could it be out gunned? Probably so. Is it more for creativity? Yes. Retracting the guns in is merely to protect the giant guns, which have their own shielding as well. Again, I state, this is merely for creativity. I also was using this as an exercise in using the rail system, which will become really powerful once we have access to logic activation from the ship's toolbar.

    we do have hotbar logic. link a wireless logic modual to an inship remote thiny and you got across entity hotbar logicz

    Oh, cool! From what Bench said in his video, it sounded like that would take more time. Cool to know it's already out!
