It's just been May the 4th, Star Wars day, so to get you even more hyped for the rail update and to celebrate Star Wars day here's a little something something.

If you want to jump in use the latest dev build, otherwise wait until release and it will still apply.

Follow along and build your own X-Wing, with working wings, firing blasters, and a landing gear, and become a bit more familiar with how you can use the new blocks in the rail update to make some really cool things.

I think the grass texture was loading the wrong side making it look like it was desert, just a bug.

There are a lot of cases I can think of where boresight fire like that would be really, really useful.

speaking of which, is there any plans to allow cross entity control over computers/weapon modules? moving parts on ships are awesome and all but right now I'm not in a hurry to put weapons on folding wings if I know i can't get cursor fire from them while piloting the parent ship.

There are a lot of cases I can think of where boresight fire like that would be really, really useful.

No. That's just unfocused fire - it still follows the mouse.

There are a few benefits to firing with your nose pointed directly at your target while turning - notably, you can keep specific segments of armor aimed at your enemy.
