    The Saryth is a heavily shielded light beam cruiser capable of trading blows well above its weight. It features a basic RP friendly interior with a combined mess/bunks, medical, sanitation, and combined engineering/CIC from which the vessel is commanded.
    In addition to sturdy shielding the ship features a unique defensive effect; a layer of rotating toggle-able glass doors I call spectra armor.
    The ship has many additional features such as a logic drive and USD access block.

    Combat
    Here is the simplified version of how I have been using this vessel.
    1. Maintain long range, burn enemy shields with ion beam
    2. Maintain long range, disable enemy with lance beams
    3. Close with weakened enemy, shell out of existence with rockets
    The Saryth makes for a good and sturdy artillery platform. Much of it’s damage potential can be applied at great distance and with good accuracy. Do not expect to quickly destroy enemies with the lance beams alone; each volley will tear away a small bit of the enemy. Once you are sure your opponent has lost several important subsystems, creep into brawling range and open up with the rockets.

    This ship’s defenses specialize in lessening the impact of missiles and beams. Full ion, stop, pull, and push weapons will also find their usefulness limited against the Saryth.
    Steer clear of short range encounters with heavy cannons.

    Weaponry
    The Saryth has five weapons, each specialized in it's purpose.

    A beam/beam/ion capable of shredding shields.
    Two beam/beam/explosive lance metabeams which can punch small holes through ships.
    A set of four rapid short range rocket launchers for block damage.
    A small set of cannon/pulse outputs positioned to clear intruders off the ship.

    I've seen a couple others use this ship on LvD and they present a very visually stunning picture both close and far away. Has a very predatory vibe to it. It's extra features like the rotating emergency bubble are really cool and can buy you a bit of extra time to flee when your shields buckle. Performance wise it's t/m gives it a bit of a sluggish feel and it's weapons load out is difficult to employ against smaller, faster ships, though I very much could see teams of these being used to ambush larger capital ships and likely doing quite a bit of damage. During my tests it got chopped up a lot by smaller, fast moving, high dps beam boats.
    a beautiful ship with an equally beautiful method of combat all around a good ship that can take on larger ships than itself from my experience it does have issues with swarms of drones but besides that a beautiful ship if I ever saw one and a dream to fly although it does not perform well in asteroid fields as the spectra armour tends to knock into them
