My first Fleet Contest submission: The Frost Fleet
Building a set of ships with a Ice/Frost theme is something I've been messing around with for a while; the contest just motivated me to put a little more effort into it.
For this submission, I've included two ships: the Frost Corvette and the Frost Drone. (Not included, but I also have a 600m Frost Battleship that is 90% complete).
On the rack here you have a stand-alone corvette, a stand-alone drone, and a corvette with its full compliment of docked drones.
For aesthetic purposes, Frost Fleet ships use only beam weapons; a sniper beam for the drone and 4x continuous beams for the corvette.
The corvette has a full interior with control room, crew quarters, mess hall, med-bay, and store room.
Obviously, whatever faction/species flies this fleet would have an ice planet for a home-world.
Perhaps not the most complex aesthetic ever, but I think the Frost Fleet is very unique and stands out from the more traditional spaceship style appearance; ideal for a procedurally generated alien race.
