UNSC Ghost - Paris Class Frigate

UNSC Ghost - Paris Class Frigate 1.0

My latest creation, UNSC Ghost. A Paris Class Frigate from the original Halo trilogy of games. The style was vastly changed from Halo 4 onwards.

This is just a hull, only systems on board are mass enhancers for the 12 anti missile turrets that are place holders until I make some offensive turrets.

Some minor detailing internally but for all intents and purposes this ship is empty so players can customise it however they see fit.

I will be making a RP version with detailed interior, and one packed with systems for pure combat at a later date.
I have held off of completeing it for the time being since hearing news of Schine planning to rebalance the game.... again.

I have tried to keep it 1:1 scale, but it is not exact. But it is possibly the one Halo ship on the SM dock you will find that is closest to the "real thing" in terms of proportions and detailing accuracy.
Being slightly narrower and taller than the ever changing fan site stats give it.

Built completely from scratch using screenshots from around the net. And going by screenies it's dimension are spot on.

    Here are the stats.
    L: 536m
    H: 146m
    W: 181m
External hull is pretty much 100% advanced armour. (It's meant to be a tank)

Anyways, enjoy! And feedback as always is welcome.

    From halo.wikia.com:

The Paris-class is a heavier variant based on the universal UNSC frigate design. Along with its heavier armament, the Paris-class was reduced in its capacity to deploy internal vehicles, possibly to reduce the weight of the vessel to not impact its venerable maneuverability. They are capable of operating within atmosphere to provide local fire-support for ground and space-based units alike.

At 535 meters in length, the Paris-class is the largest class of UNSC frigate fielded during the war, designed specifically for direct combat action and fleet screening. Carrying no ground troops, their equipment, or the dropships to carry them save for a small detachment of ODSTs in SOEIV pods, the Paris-class can thus save large amounts of room and weight. This allowed the internal structure to be redesigned apart from that of the Charon-class light frigate or Stalwart-class light frigate, allowing room for a larger reactor to feed more power to the ships systems, including the MAC gun, reducing reload times. The hangar bay aft of the ship has been reduced in size to a smaller cargo bay, useful for rapid loading and unloading of cargo directly to the surface.

The extended length of the design allows for additional magnetic coils to be mounted, increasing the velocity of projectiles launched. The Paris-class also sports additional Archer missile pods and point-defense cannons, as well as thicker Titanium-A armor, making the ship superior in its combat role when compared to its smaller frigate cousins at the expense of performing a more prominent fleet-support role.

The hangar bay mounted fore of the ship between the two forward struts carries a small compliment of GA-TL1 Longsword fighters for engaging enemy single-ships, as well as carrying SKT-13 Shuttles used for transporting the crew between the vessel and their destination.

I'm a fan of Halo and tried to make one myself before, so I can tell that this ship looks so accurate. Really nice.
One detail though: the paris wasn't in the original trilogie, it was introduced in the universe in Halo Reach.

Correct, but close enough to the Charon class and Reach is basically the Prologue to the original 3 I decided to let it slide. ; )

    And thanks for the praise.

Stay tuned though once the system rebalance update comes out I will make it as authentic as I can inside and out.
Speechless, great hull, one of the best. I'm not a fan of empty hulls but looking back at all the gutting i used to do....I'm quite happy. Thanks mate.

    Thank you.
Like I said I will be making a complete version when they get the rebalance out of the way. But yeah, did it like this myself for the same reasons, some nice ships out there, but gutting them is tedious if you're not happy with the way it's set up internally.
Eventually people will be able to have the best of both worlds, just gotta wait for that update! : )
A very accurate, clean and ready to fill shell. An excellent addition to the docks that will no doubt be downloaded thousands of times in the end.
