TTS Rockhopper is one of the longest-serving vessels in the Trinova Technologies ranks, first entering service as the DFN Rockhopper back in mid 2014. The ship has seen numerous redesigns, versions, and special refits and has become one of the most versatile and universally recognized platforms in the Trinova arsenal and versions can often be seen in the arsenals of many other factions in the community.
The current version comes equipped with two heavy anticapital missile batteries as its weaponry, with an extremely dense complement of point defense weaponry to aid in ship-to-ship missile warfare.
The Rockhopper comes with a fully fleshed-out interior and a hangar containing one Aquarius class transport inside.
The ship has a passive forcefield located in the bow to protect it against missile or other area of effect attacks even after the shields go down, as well as relatively heavy armor for a ship of its size. Even so, the Rockhopper maintains a decent thrust to weight ratio and has a fully functional jump drive and jump drive inhibitor, as well as decent long range scanners.
