A Name Worth Remember
The Condor is the first in a new generation of Tru-Craft ships designed to cater to the civilian and private security markets. Equipped with all the latest features such as power canopy, powered landing gear, and retractable engine baffles the Condor will fulfill all of the needs of a private pilot on the go, or a system patrol fleet.
Not only is this ship packed with features, but it comes with above industry standard performance in combat as well. Equipped with powerful ionic shielding and twin particle cannon, one of these is surely a match for any other fighter in its price range.
That's right! For just a few credits, you too can own a ship from the prestigious Tru-Craft Line. The value is unprecedented, the performance unmatched. Buy one today!
OOC notes:
This is my first ship design in two or three years. It didn't take me too long to get back into the swing of things, but this first fighter came out looking like garbage. Rather than scrap it, I am writing it off as "Committee designed". Still, the engines work and it has both good shields (for its size) and a pair of rapid cannon. It has, what I assume to be the new standard for fighters, the largest stable reactor available without stabilizers.
Like most of my ships, this one is primarily designed for RP. The canopy and landing gear run on rails, while the engine "baffles" are just doors so you can store the ships without making it look like the engines are running all the time. Switches and the faction module are beneath the large door panel on the back. Enjoy, and keep the game going!
**Edit** giving these ships to your pirate fleets may be a bad idea. For some reason, on my test server, lock-on missiles can't hit them, and they are QUICK little buggers. An hour later, I just gave up and put up with the constant rapid cannon fire; trying to run them down is too much effort.
