Imperial TIE/D Defender
In my quest to make all TIE fighters, its here, my take on the TIE/D Defender. Designed as an attempt to produce quality starfighters that could match the rebel's fighters, it was arguably the most advanced TIE fighter in the Imperial Navy. However its cost was far more than the standard cheap TIE fighter and limited its widespread use in the Navy. Unlike other models, the TIE/D came equipped with a hyperdrive and shields allowing it to operate more freely from the cruisers.
Special Characteristics:
Just like stated above, this model is equipped with a hyperdrive and shields along with an impressive weapons array for its size. Four laser cannons and two ion cannons along with proton torpedoes.
