The Liberator. inspired by a TV show from my youth. Blakes Seven. this ship was awsome. a bit like a microphone backwards but cool all the same.

Tied to even make bridge area as close as i could.

This is a fairly solid effort at what cannot be the easiest thing to render in Starmade - a retro tri-fin ship with spherical sections.

I'll agree with what splattthecat said (as I'm also a huge fan of the show from many years back), but expand and add a little.

At first I was wowed by the control room as it was instantly recogniseable, but the exposed systems ruined it for me somewhat as well. I was also a little let down by the lack of ice and logic drive lights for ORAC (that space should have been a bit bigger).
The exposed lights in the halls gave the right feel, but looked a little odd - pehaps parseen or a mix of parseen or light and hull instead?

My other issue is the scale. In the initial appearence of the ship(in the show), it dwarfs the London. Pages I've found online rank the London to be ~25m long and the Liberator to be ~200m. Sadly they were basing measurments off peoples size on screen VS pixels. No idea why as it doesnt take into account many things.
As I remember, the Liberator was intended to be a lot bigger than that 200m - probably 500 or more as it dwarfed just about everything in the series and could clearly be seen from the surface of planets at night (see the ISS for that if you want a real world reference!).

On the whole though, I think a second look at systems and blocks used here n there and its a definate 4-4.5/5 from me. Bonus points for it being a lesser known show reference.

Ok, with that said, I was a MASSIVE fan of the original series and this was another blast from the past for me. I couldn't resist giving this a try.

Externally you have cracked it! It definitely looks the part.

Internally you have captured the feel of the original and the bridge was instantly recognisable. The transporter was a little further away from the bridge than you have it but that is a minor issue. The "ceiling" struck me as being unfinished though. I wandered back down the hallway to the core and tried the ship out.

The ship performs well enough for the size with good turn of speed and maneuvering. What let it down for me was the weapons and effects. The beam weapon just gave me a power failure and caused little or no damage to the target I had set up. The missile might have been pretty effective against an unshielded target with no AMS but with them it was pointless. The push effect switched off immediately for some reason and the overdrive seems to draw too much power to be useful in flight.

All in all, 5/5 for the external, 4/5 for the internal details (though there could be more maybe?), 3/5 for the weapons and effects but thank you so much for bringing this beautiful ship to life.

    Thanks again for review.
Yes i did add a screen shot, but in and update. ill work to fix that.
I am very disappointed my self with the weapons. i guess i am trying to get them to be powerful but in this case too much it just crap and i need to learn more about the combinations.
think ill have a play internaly. i had plans but i needed more power for my crap weapons so lost a lot of space.

    thanks again.
