Tartaran Vertical Command vessel

    Tartaran Vertical Command vessel 2.0

    The Tartaran vertical command vessel.
A fine ship capable of mass communication at extreme ranges.

this "T" shaped vessel is capable of commanding large fleets without having to be near the battle itself, the large map room is vital for this vessel to command the fleet and lead it to the enemy.

The communication areas are manned by many people, to be able to command an entire fleet from one vessel.

But even Tartarans needs sleep, therefore is this vessel also built with many rooms for the crew, 3 types of rooms which are distributed the various ranks of the crew.

    High rank room

    Medium rank room

    Low rank room

The commanding officers have their control point in the top of the ship, where the only front window is also placed, it is here that every order is given and send out to the rest of the ship.
For protection this window has blast-shields.

For the crew to have ease to go around the ship, there have been placed directions to where each elevator and corridor leads. And for fast travel through the ship there have been placed simple gravity elevators.

As this now is a Tartaran vessel it will use the same power source as all other ships from this empire, the giant arc coil. One coil to power the entire ship, no needs for repairs since a damage coil will explode and take the whole ship and everything near it with it.
With the arc coil there is no need for an engine room on this ship as this the coil and the engines are directly connected and any loose connection would destroy the ship itself.

This vessel have installed 6 large engines though these engines are great in size they are not great in power, the ship itself is slow since most of the power is either used for shields, power or shield supply to nearby ships, or communication from deep-space.
To make up for the slow engines this vessel has a warp drive module installed.

Even though this vessel is built for long range communication, most likely from deep-space, it has still some turrets installed.
The turrets are mostly point-defence turrets to get rid of unwanted fighters and missiles. There are 8 of these small semi-auto cannon turrets on-board.
To scare of lighter vessels there have been installed two medium-heavy turrets, one on each side. These turrets uses larger artillery like cannons which can punch through most smaller vessels.

Please note that the Tartaran vertical command vessel is not an attack vessel, it is a support ship. Therefore there are no on-board weaponry, the only defence is the turrets.
This ship has never seen action in the Tartaran fleet since there are no need for a command vessel in the starmade universe when this ship was built.

~A mostly well constructed review follows~~

(+1) Exterior is one of the best to date with excellent detail all around and amazing uses of crystal and hanging lights.****

(+1) Systems have no major flaws or power problems with an excellent use of space

(+1) Interior is extremely well done with some obvious time and consideration going into it.

****(-1) Although the front of the exterior is very well done the back of the ship seems to have had much less work go into it. Rear engines are one level of lava that is not broken up at all. Tiling at the top of the back seems lazy with a lack of detail in that area.

To improve: Break up the engines into several smaller ones and put more nobbly bits in the back. Add more shaping like the front.

Overall: An excellent ship that shows that the builder knew what they were doing..(it does look like something out of the Thor movie tho..) And i can hardly wait for more ships in this style!
