This Turret Platform is best used as a warning line of defense. It is not suitable for large combat, as it has the shields of a fighter (though covered in advanced armor), but remains stationary. Its guns are highly capable however, and can buy you precious time keeping fleets at bay.

The turret has easy access to the docks as well as systems in the back.
IMPORTANT:
Before using the turret, make sure to BREAK THE BUILD BLOCK inside of the axis hatch (or else the turret cannot move), close all hatches, and check the AI.
