A dockable platform holds the templates.

    Greetings, fellow space travellers!

This is the template rack with the currently available corridor segments and modules which were designed to expand the base platform Kombinat 100.

This ressource is WIP and will be gradually upgraded.

I found the template size of 13x13x13 to be sufficient to provide enough space for a pleasant interior and exterior design at the same time. However, some future modules may bear a multiple of these dimensions.

Each module is self-sufficient regarding logic, only docked entities like doors need to be added manually. After copying a module into place, I noticed the displays need to be opened and saved again in order to forward their contend properly.

Update 2018-11-14: Teal corridors, new door design and a medical bay.

    Templates availabe as of 2018-11-14:

    • airlock (yellow inner plating)
    • habitation module (yellow inner plating)
    • medical bay (teal inner plating)
    • corridor (yellow/teal): straight, curve, t-section, intersection with access to one /two modules, dead end

    To-Do-list:

    • dockable cargo containers
    • engineering module
    • garden
    • shipyard (not too soon, since they are still prone to bugs)
    • your suggestions
    • and whatever will come to my mind in the process

Please note, the station platform has been designed for mining operations with a focus on roleplay. A defense fleet is recommended to guard the sector in terms of PVP.

A medical bay module as well as teal inner plating versions of the corridor have been added...

Very nice! - Like I said in my review of your Kombinat 100 station, building with well-fitting, pre-fabricated modular units is both realistic and a fun process.

It enables a very enjoyable, fast workflow, as well as a whole new level of architectural complexity (since it's much easier to achieve large and intricate structures, when you can place whole architectural modules in almost the same rate as you normally place individual blocks).

In my latest station (called "The Mysterious Science Station") I too used a modular template pack, but only with a 7x7x7 dimension standard, and it only focused on interior space and disregarded the outside of the modules (since they were meant to be unseen).

The fact that your modules are realistically detailed on the outside as well is a really nice thing to see. I would so much like to see this overall concept of building with modules that are life-like from every direction taken far... That would of course require additional module types in your pack, but you're certainly on the right track.

    Good job! :)
