So I should tell the real simple story of why I made this skin, and its as simple as this: I got bored and was on a Starmade high.
Yup thats basically it.
See I am fairly obsessed with Star Trek and actually own a replica of the Nemesis Science Uniform; which for you trekkies out there and other cosplayers, I purchased from cosplaysky.com . And one night I just though to myself: "Why don't I make a Star Trek Uniform?" And so I did.
I should also note that if someone already made this I don't know about it. I even googled it to make sure, and scanned the skins database on here. I can confirm I did spend three painful hours from 12-3 in the morning working on this skin, and regret nothing xD
=INSTALL=
For those who don't know how to install this yet, simply just drag the file inside the .zip file you downloaded to a safe place on your computer (I usually use the Starmade folder) and then start up the game. Go to the options and stuff menu (screen after you hit Star Game on the launcher) and then open the tab on the top named "Modding." In there hit "Load Custom Skin" and then browse under the line of text bar. Find the folder that you copied from the .zip and select the SKINFINISHED.smskin. And then hit OK to OK.
Yay you did it!
=IF INSTALL DID NOT WORK=
Well if it didn't work, there's always 'my way!' Do all the same steps except instead of "Load Custom Skin" choose "Create Custom Skin." In there use browse for Main Skin Texture and select "MAINBODY.png" from the folder you copied from the .zip. Then for the Main Skin Emission Texture, select the "NOEMISSIONS.png." Use the NOEMISSIONS.png for the last one ("Helmet Skin Emission Texture") as well. For the Helmet Skin Texture, simply select the "HELMET.png." Then hit OK to OK.
Yay you did it! (hopefully it worked this time. If not; well not my problem... it worked fine for me, and I unfortunately am not very good at troubleshooting and whatever is wrong is probably not my fault... hopefully... maybe...)
