This is my first real attempt at ship building and my first submission to the dock. It may not look the part, but it's a salvager. It can destroy planets and mine the plates efficiently, (when it's not waiting for lag), and has enough mobility to keep moving between asteroid clusters from taking too much time away from its salvager. It has a cargo capacity of 163k that could be increased a bit, but other than that the interior is kind of small and divided by teleporters. The amount of shielding and turrets are an effort at protection from the custom pirates on the server I currently spend most of my time on. In hindsight a chain drive would have been nice but I did try to keep the jump drive on this from being agonizingly slow. The 58k mass was actually a mistake, it got away from me real quick. I'm still very new to ship building so this one was a learning experience for sure. I enjoyed making it and it works for me, so in the end I guess thats what counts. I hope it works for someone else as well.

Lovely hull design on the exterior with the shaping and accents. I for one dont like an interior thats seperated by transporters, but the bridge has an excellent design. the airlocks on the sides could be improved to a USD-2. and although the ship is quite solid, im sure theres room for more such as a shuttle bay in the rear room. Other than that its well designed, powerful salvage beams, and is able to defend itself if theres an attack. I noticed some logic, in build mode but i did not see what it was for

Thanks for the comments and compliments, the logic you see closes the doors behind you when you're heading in. I get what you're saying about the teleporters, I'll admit I got lazy with the interior since I originally just built this for my own use.
