had a little 1v1 with one of these recently having never seen one before and was impressed enough to look it up and actually log on for once :D
While victory was mine, i think yours won on style points.
And that's not something I can often admit.
Offensively it's certainly not fun to be in front of, but wont win a dps race against a decent ion cannon, defensively, enough shields but could be better armored around important systems like PSU's or around the onboard weapon blocks themselves, seperating them from other systems, this can stop nukes dead in their tracks and even fairly effective against punch weapons with your pierce/punch set up. Those defensives can be turned on and stay on while out of that particular core which opens up some good options for armor plating. The docked shield supply surprised me with the uncapped regen until i managed to fish it out with beams.
Full disclosure I had a couple of small AI ships with me that were supposed to make up the mass difference but they were deleted after a short while.
